ZOLOPEG SYRUP is a bowel cleanser that is used to cleanse the bowel prior to colonoscopy, colorectal surgery and barium meal X-ray examination. It contains polyethylene glycol and electrolytes like sodium chloride, potassium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and anhydrous sodium bisulphite as active ingredients. ZOLOPEG SYRUP is a powerful laxative. It softens the stools by drawing in more water from the intestines. This helps in emptying colourless, watery bowels. The electrolytes present in the medicine prevents dehydration and other serious side effects that may be caused due to fluid loss as the colon is emptied. The recommended dosage for adults is one bottle of ZOLOPEG SYRUP. Peglec Powder should be used only under medical supervision.
